Apex Nova Labs builds the education, employment and innovation infrastructure a new generation deserves — born in a township, built for a continent. Project Next SA is the movement around it.
Milestones that remind us why this matters — and who it's for.
Updated by our team as the movement grows. These numbers belong to all of us.
Apex Nova Labs was founded by Itumeleng Sejeso in Khutsong, Merafong — a township on the edge of Gauteng where most ideas don't get to leave the room they were born in. Ours did.
We design and build technology that closes the distance between South African talent and South African opportunity: learning platforms for learners who were never the priority, job tools for graduates who deserve a first chance, and software that reflects the country that uses it.
The future of South Africa cannot be imported. It has to be authored — by us, from here.
Tap a province to see local projects, events, volunteers and the stories coming out of the ground.
To build technology that unlocks education, employment and economic dignity for every South African — starting with the learners and graduates our systems left behind.
A South Africa that leads the continent — and the world — in innovation, because its people were finally given the tools they always deserved.
Universal access to quality learning. Real first jobs for matric graduates. South African platforms shaping how the world works, learns and trades.
Each platform exists because someone we know needed it and could not find it.
A CAPS-aligned learning platform for Grades 8–12 — lessons, practice and exam prep that finally meet learners where they are.
Foundation and intermediate phase learning that makes the basics joyful, visual and rooted in the South African classroom.
A free job-matching app for unemployed matric graduates — matched to real first jobs, with no fees, no gatekeepers.
A new platform from Apex Nova Labs is in build. Join Project Next SA to be the first to know.

Visionary behind Apex Nova Labs and Project Next SA. Building from Khutsong what the world said could not be built there.

Leads engineering across ELSA, ELSA Junior and Tiro — turning vision into shippable, reliable product.

Holds the operation together — partnerships, schedule, the diplomacy that gets a township company into national rooms.

Tells the Apex Nova Labs story — to learners, to media, to government, to the people Project Next SA exists for.
Engineers, designers, educators, storytellers, organisers — wherever you are, there is room for you in this movement.
If you back African-owned infrastructure for the next generation — as an investor, a government department, a school district, or a corporate — we'd like to talk.
